Stunning Scenery

Nestled in the rolling hills of Castle Rock, The Oaks transforms into a winter wonderland when dusted with snow. Often seen as a symbol for new beginnings, snow makes the perfect backdrop for you and your partner to start your new life together. Not to mention, frosted trees, fresh snowfall, and warm winter light make for absolutely stunning photos. The Oaks features multiple picturesque locations to capture your perfect day, both indoors and out.

Cozy Indoor Ceremonies

With massive Oak beams, wrap-around windows, and two-story vaulted ceilings, The Oaks ballroom is the perfect place to start your forever this winter. The large windows offer stunning views of the snowy hills of Castle Rock, while the sturdy walls offer shelter from the cold. Earlier sunsets, soft greenery on the chandeliers, and candles lining the aisle make for the dreamiest winter weddings.

Warm Winter Wardrobes

Nothing gives cozy winter wedding vibes like the muted tones and soft textures that are often a part of the winter wardrobe aesthetic. Dark greens, rusty reds, and rich jewel tones on fabrics like velvet and fur are the perfect selections for winter wedding attire. Gold, silver, and champagne are festive accents, while black is a classic staple that pairs well with anything.

If you’re looking to really stand out, a black wedding gown is elegant, bold, and especially dramatic against a snowy, white backdrop. If you’re planning on venturing into the snow but aren’t a fan of cold feet, swap your sparkling heels for some fur-lined snow boots and you’re good to go!

Festive Holiday Decor

From November to January, The Oaks is decorated in festive yet tasteful holiday decor. Snowy fir trees, leafy garland, and outdoor lights are just a few of the items that will make their appearance for the holidays. Our seasonal decor is modern, minimal, and matches the overall aesthetic of the venue, and is the perfect touch to elevate your winter wedding.

Seasonal Pricing and Availability

Finally, a big bonus to having a winter wedding is that it will fall outside of Colorado’s typical “wedding season,” which means a better selection of dates for a lower cost. Getting married in the off-season can be up to half the cost of getting married in the summer! Not to mention, you’ll typically get first pick of the dates. If you are looking for a short-term engagement, this could be a great option for you. At The Oaks, our off-season falls from November to April, with the steepest discounts in January, February, and March. To view availability for this year, head over to our full calendar linked here. We would love to host your winter wedding!
