Where to Say "I Do": Ceremony Options at The Oaks

There’s so much to consider when searching for the perfect venue – getting ready suites, photo opportunities, a killer dance floor, a beautiful reception space; the list goes on and on. However, one of the most important details is where you’ll host your ceremony. After all, this is where you’ll exchange your vows to each other, have your first kiss as newlyweds, and be introduced as a married couple for the first time.

At the Oaks, we offer three distinct ceremony locations, each with its own charm, so you are sure to find the perfect setting for your wedding celebration.

The Scrub Oaks - Outdoor Ceremony Site

Up to 230 guests

The most popular location to exchange vows at the Oaks is our outdoor ceremony site. Nestled among the trees behind our back patio, the outdoor ceremony site offers sweeping views of Castle Rock and Plum Creek Golf Course. Our included French bistro chairs are thoughtfully arranged to frame the ceremony space, and the Scrub Oak trees act as a naturally beautiful backdrop for your wedding ceremony.

After tying the knot, guests are welcome to mingle in the backyard, relax on the patio, and even play lawn games! Our attentive staff will pass refreshing beverages and hors d’oeuvres both indoors and out. When the sun begins to set, light filters through the leaves beautifully, creating the perfect golden-hour glow.

The Ballroom - Indoor Ceremony Site

Up to 230 guests

For couples dreaming of an indoor ceremony, our elegant ballroom is the perfect choice. The large windows flood the room with natural light and offer stunning views of the natural scenery just beyond. Exposed Oak beams and wrought iron chandeliers look absolutely dreamy when draped in greenery, but the neutral aesthetic acts as a blank canvas for you to decorate as you please.

Our ballroom is the ideal ceremony location for those getting married in the off-season when Colorado weather might be a bit finicky. In the winter, the ballroom is a beautiful reprieve from the snowy landscapes outside. Additionally, this space serves as our “plan B” in case of bad weather on your big day. If the weather is taking a turn for the worse, we are happy to move your ceremony inside, where it will be equally beautiful.

The Foyer - Indoor Ceremony Site

Up to 120 guests

A bit of a hidden gem, the entrance to The Oaks also makes a beautiful ceremony location. With soaring ceilings and a massive stone wall, the foyer creates a striking backdrop for both your vows and wedding photos. This space pairs nicely with our French bistro chairs, blending warmth and sophistication. Perfect for more intimate gatherings, the foyer can accommodate up to 120 guests, making it a unique alternative to our other ceremony sites.

Off-Site Ceremony

Hosting your ceremony off-site? We would still be honored to be a part of your wedding celebration!

Even with off-site ceremonies, many of our couples still choose to take advantage of the full-day rental. This includes access to the venue from 10am – 11pm as well as our getting-ready suites. Your hair and makeup team will have plenty of room in our bridal suite, and we’ll even serve lunch to the wedding party! This would also give your vendors more time for set-up, if needed, and provide a central location for your wedding party.

For the reception, guests may arrive as early as 4:30 pm, where our staff will welcome them into the cocktail hour before helping them find their seats for dinner, after which, you’ll dance the night away!

We’d love to be the home base for your perfect day.
