Here are a few things to consider when planning your cake and dessert service:
Professional delivery: We strongly encourage multi-tiered cakes to be delivered by a professional baker with experience safely transporting tiered cakes.
Same-day delivery: All cakes and desserts must be delivered on the day of the wedding. Unfortunately, we’re unable to store cakes or desserts overnight.
Timing: We recommend having your cake and desserts delivered around your ceremony time. This helps minimize the amount of time they need to be refrigerated before dessert service.
Refrigeration: If your desserts do need to be refrigerated, we have limited refrigerator space available. The available space is approximately 17.5″ wide × 17.5″ deep × 40″ tall.
Serving your cake: Consider whether you’d like our team to cut and serve your cake or if you’d prefer to save it to take home at the end of the evening.
Dessert table setup: Our team can cut your cake, set up your dessert display, and restock the dessert table as needed. Dessert tables are typically set up during dinner service so everything is ready for guests to enjoy afterward.
Dessert Supplies: We have cake stands, cake cutting sets, assorted platters, plates, and forks available to use. Please let us know if you plan to bring your own or are bringing a cake topper.
Cake Cutting Locations
Where you cut your cake is completely up to you! Most couples choose to cut their cake in the ballroom following dinner service; however, you can explore a few other popular options below.
The Ballroom
Best if you prefer a formal cake cutting in front of all of your guests.
The Bar
Best if you’re planning a casual cake cutting and dramatic photo opp.
The Foyer
Best if you want to cut your cake in private or in front of an intimate group.
Cake Cutting Tables
We typically use a folding cab table with a linen for your cake table, but we can also use a cocktail table from the bar, or a white console table.
Cab Table
31.25” D X 43.25” H
Fits a 120″ round linen
Console Table
40” H X 18’ D X 60’ W
Cocktail Table
27″ D x 41.75″ H
Dessert Locations
When planning where you would like your dessert set up, consider what else you have planned for each space. For example, if you already have other vendors (such as a photo booth or live music) set up in the bar, the nook may work best!
